Birthdays and Anniversarys
Disney World is a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. If a member of your party has a birthday, when you enter the park, stop by at guest services and let them know. You will be given a birthday pin to wear. Cast Members who see the pin will wish you a Happy Birthday and go out of their way to make the day special. Also, be sure to mention it is a special day when making hotel or dining reservations. There are some exceptional Cast Members who really will make the effort to make the day special.
Everything Mouse Bites!
EPCOT will be 25 years old on 10/1/07, right after the Year of a Million Dreams ends. What would you like to see for the celebrations? Disney has so far remained quiet on any plans for the anniversary. Personally I would like to see the return of Tapestry of Dreams – the parade that many of you may remember.
Universal Orlando Resort plans to spend as much as $120 million this year on the design and construction of new attractions, as well as on other capital improvements, to offset declining attendance.
